The following is the main steps to use our chromatic confocal system.
1. Connecting system
The whole system include: computer, controller and sensor (one piece or multiple), USB cable and optic fiber cable.
Please shut down all power supply before the measurement, and connect the system as the following picture. Adjust the positions of the sensors (lenses) well.
2. Installing software
Install the software and driver according to the instruction. Our software supports win7 ~ win10 systems.
3. Calibration
In order to ensure the precision of the measurement, almost all measuring equipment and the system need to be calibrated before usage. Although they had been calibrated before leaving the factory, due to the changes of the actual environment factors, such as temperature, humidity, vibration or light, the measuring equipment and the system might have interferences. If so, the measurement precision cannot be guaranteed. Before using the chromatic confocal equipment or systems, in order to ensure the precision, the work for calibration needs to be done.
4. Preheating system
In order to achieve a better thermal balance for the whole system, when the system is powered on, please start to operate it after several minutes.
5. Get measuring data
You can operate the facilities and get the measuring data easily via the software after the system is ready.
